Job Overview
Light Market is seeking a motivated and customer-focused Sales Associate to join our Durban North branch. This role is suited to someone who enjoys retail sales, assisting customers, and earning commission based on performance within the lighting, electrical, and solar industry.
Key Responsibilities

Assist walk-in customers with product selection and sales

Provide basic advice on lighting, electrical, and solar products

Process sales accurately using POS systems

Maintain merchandising standards and store presentation

Support stock handling, packing, and general store operations

Deliver excellent customer service and meet sales targets
Minimum Requirements

Minimum 2–3 years retail sales experience

Strong communication and customer service skills

Honest, reliable, and target-driven

Willingness to learn product knowledge and systems

Lighting or electrical product experience is advantageous
Working Hours

Retail trading hours, including Saturdays
